The Sustainable Culture Laboratory is a program of collective research into the leading issues of sustainability and adaptation to climate change in today's societies through the arts, humanities and civic participation, launched in 2015 by COAL Art for Sustainable Development and LADYSS-CNRS in collaboration with twenty artists, scientists and civic initiatives. Starting in 2019, the Laboratory of Sustainable Culture launched “La Table et le Torritoire”, the second part of the event on sustainable food, thanks to the cooperation of six leading European countries in the field of art, ecology and territory: Three atypical cultural sites established on farms - Zone Sensible (France) , Campo Adentro (Spain) and ArtMill (Czech Republic) -, the third artistic and civic venue - Locus Athens (Greece) - and the art center - The PAV - Parco Arte Vivente (Italy), a pioneer in the production of cultural events related to art and ecology - under the coordination of the leading representative of the art and ecological scene: COAL (France) and in relation to institutional and scientific partners: the French laboratory LADYSS CNRS, the international Marguerite network, ENS Paris, the Spanish cultural institution Matadero and the University of Athens. The partners of "La Table et le Territoire" have set themselves the goal of cultivating a culture of sustainability, bringing and embodying other artistic, scientific and political stories about the transformation of the Earth.
"La Table et leTerritoire" is a program that puts participatory and civic solutions based on culture into practice. ArtDialog is honored to be part of this pan-European project.
We look forward to seeing you online this year!
