**LVX MICA. The Light of Mica.**
A light that is not light in the traditional sense, but rather its residue, its sediment, its memory. Here, Miloš Šejn does not install a work in the conventional meaning of the word — he opens a situation. A situation unfolding on the threshold between a gesture and its reverberation, between matter and its dispersion, between the visible and the audible.

The space of the former sacral interior in Andělská Hora, reduced to an almost ascetic white prism, is not merely a frame. It is an active field in which different temporal layers converge: the geological time of mica, the historical time of architecture, and the ephemeral time of the artist’s performative intervention. Šejn enters here as a medium rather than a creator in the traditional sense — his gestures are not acts of composition, but rather acts of listening to the material and to the site.

The ritual pouring of water and scattering of tiny fragments of mica creates a landscape that resists fixation. It is a landscape in motion, a landscape that emerges even as it disintegrates, a landscape referring both to primordial sediments and to the immediacy of the here and now. This “snow-like radiance” is not an image but an event — a fragile configuration of light, matter, and time.

The parallel sonic layer, based on the delicate ringing of fragments of silver slag, opens another plane of perception. Sound here does not function as accompaniment, but as a latent structure of the space itself, permeating it and destabilizing its apparent emptiness. The silence surrounding the installation is therefore not an absence, but a condensed presence — a space in which that which usually escapes perception may become visible.
