curators: Jan Freiberg, Radoslav Schmelzová

House of Art III builds on the previous projects in the House of Art series and focuses on the relationship between contemporary art, space, perception, and the active role of visitors. The exhibition will bring together works by approximately thirty artists of different generations working across a range of media — from traditionally framed paintings and autonomous objects to process-based, installation-based, and spatially variable forms of practice,” said the project’s.
Alongside classical forms of presentation, the project will also reflect tendencies that work with installation, spatial rhythm, and the viewer’s experience. “The project stems from an attempt to move through these different modes of contemporary art as a unified whole. The exhibition will therefore focus primarily on experience, the rhythm of the space, and the relationships between the works.
