INSIDE MOVEMENT
Ever since the beginnings of representational art, deep in prehistoric times, the human body – and a moving human body in particular – has been one of the central subjects of arts of different cultures, and an inexhaustible source of inspiration for generations of artists. Starting from very different premises, the two artists jointly presented at the exhibition organized by the newly established Ostrava City Gallery – David Michalek and Miloš Šejn – both found new ways of capturing the dynamism and beauty of the human form in visually stunning images.
